Universities in Turkey require students to get an Equivalence Certificate. If you have not worked on your Equivalence, please note the procedure mentioned below. You can either get it made from Pakistan or Turkey. The deadline for each university is announced according to their policy. If you don't submit your equivalence by the deadline set by your University, your registration may be cancelled.
Procedure for getting Equivalence Certificate from Pakistan:
Step 1: British Council Attestation
1) Fill in the Verification & Consent Form. Please download these three documents Document 1 Document 2 Document 3
2) Make payment at any SCB Branch mentioned in the Form. Its PKR 1000/ per certificate
3) Email scanned copies of the following documents to verifications.isb@britishcouncil.org.pk for Islamabad, verifications.karachi@britishcouncil.org.pk for Karachi & verifications.lahore@britishcouncil.org.pk for Lahore and attach them as separate files in one email:
- Verification Form
- Consent Form
- GCE O&A Level Certificates
- SCB Payment Receipt
- CNIC
4) You will receive an acknowledgement email after they verify your documents. Depending on their COVID policy they will either set an appointment & ask you to report on venue for submission of documents. In this case, they will attest your documents & return them on the same day OR they might ask you to drop/courier your documents to their office for attestation. This might take a couple of days. You will be informed via email.
Step 2: MoFA Attestation
To get your O&A Level Certificates attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs you can drop by at their office located in your City. You don't need any prior appointment, it's walk-in & on first come first serve basis. Usually, documents are attested on the same day.

Step 3: Translation of documents to Turkish
All O & A Level Certificates must be translated and certified by either the Translation department in NUML (051-9265066) OR Ms. Ramsha Mahmood (0332-5126777).
Step 4: Getting an Appointment at the Embassy
After you receive your translated documents, you need to fill out an online form and upload the following documents by visiting https://edenklik.meb.gov.tr/:

- GCE O Level Certificates (front and back both)
- GCE AS & A LEVEL (front and back both)
- Translated Documents
- Denklik Application From (attached in this email)
- Kimlik (if available)
- School Graduation or School Leaving Certificate
A detailed step-by-step guide is attached to help you with the process. Report on time at the day of your appointment along with ALL your documents and get your Equivalency Certificate issued. Please note that students residing in cities other than Islamabad will have to travel to Islamabad on the day of their appointment.

If you plan on getting your Equivalence Certificate made from Turkey, you will first have to get your GCE O & A Level Certificates attested from the British Council & MoFA in Pakistan. For attestation, please follow the process below:

Please be informed that you need to be physically present in Turkey on the day of your appointment, so select a date accordingly.
