Department of Computer Engineering; Conducts education, training and research on computer system structure, development and effective use methods. Nowadays, converting the data collected in many fields into information and storing and analyzing this information is an important problem that needs to be solved. The solution to this problem is possible with entrepreneurial, innovative and research computer engineers. 

Department of Computer Engineering; It provides education at an international level, taking into account scientific and technological developments and the needs of our country. Our department aims to train creative, entrepreneurial and preferred engineers who will produce solutions to the rapidly changing needs in the IT sector. 

After the English preparatory class, our students take basic engineering courses in the first two years, as well as courses such as introduction to programming, object-oriented programming and data structures. With the technical elective courses they take in the third and fourth years, they have the opportunity to specialize in one or more fields of their choice, such as computer science, computer networks and mobile communications, artificial intelligence, software systems or hardware systems. Our students gain the ability to meet the needs of the private and public sectors with courses such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, cryptography, cyber security, processor architecture, image processing, big data, cloud computing and embedded systems.

Additionally, our students have the opportunity to become students of another department they are interested in with Double Major and Minor programs.

Our graduates can work in many sectors such as defense industry, telecommunications, sports informatics, medical and banking. They can also pursue an academic career as lecturers at universities.
