Industrial Engineering is based on the knowledge and skills of mathematics, science and social sciences; It is a multidisciplinary engineering branch that aims to provide design, planning, organization, integration, control and continuous improvement in production / service sectors and supply chains.

With the lesson plan prepared in line with the requirements of the age and human-oriented, our students; By considering the entire system, the competency to develop effective and efficient solutions to the problems of the system is gained. Our graduates will have the technical knowledge and skills to work in the majority of departments in an institution's organizational chart. For example; an industrial engineer working in the manufacturing sector (automotive, textile, food, etc.); May take part in fields such as production planning and control, work study, system analysis, ergonomics, operations management, facility design, total quality management, operations research, multi-criteria decision making and lean production. They have the ability to develop brand designs and strategies in the marketing department and to derive meaning through data mining in the sales department. In addition, industrial engineers also take part in research and development and can perform applied and experimental analyses. In the IT sector, industrial engineers who are active in the digital transformation process with Industry 4.0 also have knowledge of the software and coding part. In addition, they can also provide business development, project management and consultancy services.

In addition to theoretical and practical courses, our students will meet the requirements of the Industrial Engineering profession with the examination of real case studies, design and application projects, and compulsory internships. In addition, our students will be able to constantly improve themselves through exchange programs, Double Major, Minor and certificate programs.

Starting from the 2022 - 2023 academic year, the language of instruction in our Industrial Engineering Department will be English.
