Physical therapy and rehabilitation
Physiotherapists are responsible for all kinds of situations that cause movement disorders such as injury, illness and old age; They are professional staff who can use physiotherapy-specific evaluation methods after the diagnosis of a specialist physician in pain and function disorders, have the knowledge and skills to plan and apply treatment approaches developed by physiotherapists, and have important duties in increasing health and quality of life. Today, physiotherapists serve with different approaches, the number of which is increasing day by day, in all situations where movement and function are threatened for various reasons, in increasing the quality of life related to independent movement and health.
In addition to basic medical science courses such as anatomy and physiology, students graduate by doing their internship in the relevant units while taking field courses such as electrotherapy, therapeutic movements, orthopedic rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, athlete health and rehabilitation.
Graduates can work in public hospitals, private hospitals, municipal and university research hospitals, physical therapy centers, private education centers, private clinics, sports clubs and nursing homes.
