The Energy Systems Engineering  Department aims to graduate engineers who will work in the field of planning and managing the processes involved in energy production and consumption, sustainability, minimization of losses, new resources and new production processes and technologies.

Students are expected to graduate with an understanding of environmental and economic problems and with the capability of producing new solutions in the energy systems area.
