CLASS LOCATION, DAYS AND HOURS

Classes are held at Kavacık Campus, between 7.00pm - 9.45pm on weekdays and between 10.00am-4.00pm on Saturdays.

DURATION OF THE PROGRAM

The duration of the non-thesis master's program is 3 semesters. The master's program with thesis, on the other hand, is completed in a maximum of 4 semesters and a maximum of 6 semesters.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE

The non-thesis program consists of 10 courses and a master's term project, while the thesis program consists of 7 courses, a seminar course and a master's thesis. 

PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAM

Global politics, especially after the 1990s, has evolved into a multi-actor and multi-layered structure. Within this context, the importance of the discipline of International Relations has increased and expanded to include relatively new issues such as migration, gender, neocolonialism, financialization, climate crisis, local actors, discourse in addition to the traditional issues.

Beykoz University Institute of Graduate Programs, Global Politics and International Relations English Master's program seeks to contribute to the study of crucial international and regional issues in Türkiye and its neighbouring countries in today's global world. In addition, the program is designed to attract the interest of both Turkish and foreign students with current issues such as migration, conflict resolution and peace building, the relationship between local, national and global politics. The fact that the language of instruction for the program is English ensures that academic activities are carried out within the scope required by the discipline while achieving global standards.

Envisaged to have a vibrant nature, the program will organize activities such as symposiums, research seminars and workshops.
