Clinical Psychology Master’s Program at Yeditepe University has been designed to fit international standards. The program aims to enable its students and graduates to become competent at clinical assessment and evaluation as well as clinical research methods, with a thorough understanding of theories and applications of psychopathology and psychotherapy. Graduates of the program are expected to utilize their scientific knowledge and practical expertise in the welfare of the society. The program also intends to train clinicians who will be both conscious of the scientific and professional responsibilities and are devoted to the ethical principles and standards of the field.

Our Clinical Psychology Master Program involves a thesis. The first year of the program consists of an intensive curriculum that aims to invest in the development of theoretical and practical foundations. The program focuses on theoretical and practical education concerning both psychoanalytic-psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral approaches. In the second year of the program, students will find the opportunity to gain and improve their skills as a clinician and psychotherapist through supervision, focusing on practice and intervention. During the second year, students are expected to design and conduct an original research and write a master's thesis.
