The Graduate Program in Journalism is an interdisciplinary program that aims to equip the candidates (students), coming from various professional backgrounds, with national and international approaches and changing praxis in the field of media, especially journalism and digital journalism in the age of a fast information flow.

The functioning of a democratic society depends on the existence of informed, competent and responsible journalists. Therefore, it is of great importance to be able to develop a well-rounded understanding of the role and impact of journalism in modern societies, as well as the competence to structure information/news as required by journalism. Journalism is also affected by the transitions between local, national and global levels in the media sector, which is a rapidly developing industry, in almost every field from publishing to media planning, from financial management to product marketing.
