Atılım University Department of Mathematics was established in 2000 and the language of instruction is English.  It offers its students the opportunity to obtain a Mathematical Finance or Cryptography Certificate in addition to a bachelor's degree . Within the framework of the Regulations and Guidelines , our students have the  opportunity to receive a double major program and a Mathematics diploma, as well as a second diploma and a minor program, and a certificate of the minor department they have completed in addition to their Mathematics diploma. Our graduates work in finance, education, banking, informatics and similar fields by starting their careers in universities as well as their academic careers.

Our department has been accredited by the FEDEK evaluation and accreditation association for the maximum period of 5 years (until 30 September 2025).

With its program in line with international standards and qualified academic staff, it has been among the leading Mathematics departments in the world and in our country, especially in international Mathematics field rankings such as URAP, THE, USNEWS and WEBOFMETRIC in the last five years.
