The first condition of being a good economist in a world undergoing a very dynamic transformation with the effects of globalization is to get to the root of problems such as financial instability, unemployment, inflation and volatility in market prices that will be encountered on the way to a strong economy, and to develop solutions for these problems. Based on this understanding, as Istinye University Department of Economics, we aim to equip our students with the following gains:
- Observing national and global trends and problems in the light of a solid theoretical background by understanding the economic, social and technological dynamics
- Within these observations, making appropriate predictions and suggesting solutions by considering economic problems from a broad perspective and interpreting them correctly.
- Being aware of the importance of artificial intelligence, mastering current information technologies and developing artificial intelligence-based approaches in the economy
- Being a researcher who constantly follows and questions international publications, developments and new trends
