The Department of English Language and Literature is a department that aims to raise creative and dynamic individuals who can speak English at a high level, can analyze language, culture and literature, think in the light of knowledge and equipment, ask questions, make comments. In this department, students take courses that aim to improve their written and spoken English skills, as well as courses that lay the groundwork for historical, literary and critical research of English culture and literature. The Department of English Language and Literature is an interdisciplinary department. It is blended with basic knowledge in the field of literature and culture with elective courses that can be taken from different departments (communication, media, law, business, architecture, engineering, etc.)

The working areas of the graduates are as follows: All communication, translation, editorial activities in all private and public institutions that require good knowledge of English, both written and oral; National education, universities, foreign affairs, tourism, banks, private companies and media organizations.
