We aim to train physicians who will contribute to scientific developments.

In İstinye University Faculty of Medicine, an integrated system is implemented that includes structured skills training program topics that are linked horizontally and vertically, emphasizing the social and social dimensions of the issues. The language of education is Turkish.

In the first three years, it is aimed for the student to obtain basic health and disease information necessary before going to the clinic. A large number of optional and compulsory applications are made in order to ensure contact with patients and clinics. The aim is to enable the student to be together with the patient in different environments before clinical internships.

The fourth and fifth grades consist of clinical internships and rotations. It includes a total of 6 internships and rotations of 28 departments.

Internship education period, which will be given in the sixth year of the education program, is a 12-month practice carried out by different departments as compulsory or optional. In the meantime, students practice applied medicine. In addition to 4 main branches such as Public Health, Internal Medicine, Gynecology and Obstetrics, Pediatrics and Diseases and General Surgery, they rotate Mental Health and Diseases, Emergency Medicine and Elective Internship. Their contribution to the practice and their skills are evaluated.

The education program of our faculty is in line with the Core Education Program recommended for the Faculties of Medicine in our country. Students can participate in research programs if they wish. ERASMUS, FARABI, TURKMSIC student exchange programs are also implemented in our faculty.
